So, the other day, when Kayla was walking across the room, Lily said, "Look, Kayla is walking!!" Nathan and Lily say something like that occasionally, even though she walks all the time now.
But, but thing I laughed at was Nathan's response,"Wow! I guess now she's a real person!"
And tonight, when Lily was saying our family prayer, she thanked Heavenly Father that no monsters came to our house. :) She's kind of obsessed with monsters right now, always asking if they are around, or she won't go somewhere because monsters will get her.
Funny kids! They always make me laugh!

Shhhh. . . it's a secret. . .
So, it's that time of year where goodies are made and shared with neighbors and friends. . .
Well, this year, we made Corn Flake wreaths and the kids had a great time decorating them with candy.
We've made 22 so far. . . and here's the secret. . .
A few months ago, Albertson's had a great cereal sale. We bought several cases of cereal. . . and lots of Corn Flakes for 35 cents a box. :) So, we are using them up! (Don't tell anyone!)

Wreath-making
Yesterday was a wreath-making day! We had my good friend, Krista, and her kids over to play and make wreaths. The kids made these ones. . . they're just pipecleaner with beads strung on them. They loved it! It's a great little Christmas craft and they are hanging all over our tree now.
I've been making these wreaths. It's been fun! I made one last year and hung it on my door. I was so excited about it, that after Christmas I scored some great deals on the wreaths, ribbon, and ornaments. So, I've been putting them together and giving them away. These ones are for two of my sisters. Merry Christmas!

She's walking!
Kayla has recently started walking! She does her best to keep up with her energetic older siblings! She keeps everyone laughing. Nathan plays especially well with her. He's always looking out for Kayla. This afternoon, Nathan came and informed me that we had a problem and and he couldn't find Kayla anywhere! He didn't realize that I'd already put her down for a nap.
Another recent trick she's learned is how to play peek-a-boo!
We kept laughing as she would put her hands on top of her head and then drag them down her face until they covered her eyes.
She is turning into quite the character. Recently, she has discovered how to flush the toilet. The other evening, she happened to flush a pair of Lily's princess underwear down the toilet. I couldn't help but laugh!!
