Halloween

Here are some quick pics of our Halloween costumes:

Applesauce!

So, most canning I like to do by myself: peaches, salsa, tomatoes. . . but, when it comes to applesauce, it is a family affair.  I am able to convince my parents, and sometimes my sisters, to come and help.  Here's my dad and Bryson working hard. :)

Kayla was an awesome apple washer.  She really kept Grandma (who was chopping apples) on her toes!

Lily was a great helper at putting the lids on the jars.

Benson took a nice long nap and woke up just as we were finishing.

We ended up doing 124 quarts.  Boy am I glad that is done!

And now I am done canning.  I think. :)
